- historical health data of running, exercise and sleep in Apple Health, Google Fit (the “ Wearable Device Data ”) you authorized to use;
- andyour health data in NHIA My Health Bank (the “ NHIA Data ”) we gather and obtain via the App pursuant to the terms and conditions stipulated by National Health Insurance Administration ( NHIA ) after your authorization.
2. Security Policy
We understand the importance of protecting your information, so we take careful protective measures, as follows:
- Your information is transmitted in encrypted form and will be de-identified before being stored, used or disclosed to any third party on this service platform. Even after your information is de-identified, we can still track and monitor it.
- The aggregated data or model data we collect, store and generate after de-identification cannot be restored to the original data.
- We strictly control our employees or any third party who may use your information, and take active measures to eliminate the risk of privacy infringement through a sound security control mechanism.
- We have incident response protocols in place to promptly investigate and promptly report any potential or confirmed privacy breach.
3. Collecting, processing and using your information
By using or accessing the Services, you agree that:
- we may gather Your Information and de-identify it to produce the health report and the health scores (for the sole purpose of determining your eligibility to specific insurance products), the promotion code and the product recommendations (collectively the “ Derived Results ”) through our Lydia AI technology, including but not limited to its related machine learning models;
- we may compile statistics of the Derived Results, aggregate Services usage data and other information for Services improvement and analytical or marketing purposes; and
- we may use the Derived Results, aggregate Services usage data and other information for any of the following purposes:
- to provide personalized content and information, such as promotions or newsletter, to you, while you may reject the use of marketing purposes at any time;
- to respond to your correspondence, queries or requests we receive from you;
- to monitor, record, analyze, maintain, operate, and improve the Services;
- to diagnose and/or fix bugs and/or other technology problems in respect of the Services related software and/or applications;
- to update the Services related software and/or applications;
- to promote public interests or prevent harm on your or any other's rights and interests; or
- when your consent has been obtained or as permitted or required by applicable laws and regulations.
4. Disclosure of your information
Except for any of the following circumstances, we will not disclose your information, derivative results, and/or the comprehensive usage data of our services to your insurance broker, insurance company or any third party without your express authorization and consent:
- Disclose the above information in accordance with the user terms of this service;
- Disclose the above information to our affiliates and third-party organizations to help us provide or improve the Service;
- To our successor if we sell all or part of our business or are involved in a merger or acquisition;
- Disclose the above information to protect the legal rights of us, our affiliates, employees, directors, representatives or users and to prevent insurance fraud;
- Disclose the above information to comply with applicable laws or regulations or requirements of competent authorities;
- Disclose analytics or other de-identified information; or
- You have made your information and/or derivative works public. Please note that even if you remove some or all of the information you have made public, residual memories of the information may continue to remain after you remove it.
5. Retaining your information
- After the derivative results are generated, your wearable device data and National Health Insurance Administration data will be retained on this service platform.
- When you utilize or use the Service, you agree that the derivative results, the comprehensive usage data of the Service and other information will be stored in Japan and/or any other information processing center owned and/or outsourced by us, and we have the right to change the data processing center from time to time at our discretion; however, unless a longer period is required by applicable laws or regulations, the retention period of such information is five years from the generation of the derivative results, or we receive your request to delete it from the Service platform in accordance with Article 9 of this Policy, whichever comes first.
6. Cookies and Similar Technologies
When you use the Service, we or our third-party contractors may use cookies or similar technologies to collect information about how, where and/or when you use the Service in order to provide you with a better and more personalized Service. We may use cookies or similar software placed by us or third parties and ask third-party contractors to deliver advertisements, services and/or other information to your device. You can modify your acceptance level of cookies in your browser settings. However, if you choose to reject all cookies, you may not be able to use certain features of this Service.
